Debra J. Humphrey
Debra represents individuals in product liability, toxic tort or toxic exposure, catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and consumer fraud matters. She brings a strong results-oriented background and attitude to advocate for you.
Education:
Debra earned her J.D. at Fordham University School of Law in 2011. While in law school, she represented low-income individuals through law school’s Securities Arbitration Clinic, provided legal services on humanitarian rights issues during her internship with the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice’s Fellowship Program, and was a member of the Urban Law Journal.
She received her B.S. from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, with majors in International Business and Economics and a minor in Spanish. During college, she studied abroad in Spain.

Debra is admitted and licensed to practice law in the state of New York State and in various federal courts including the United States District Courts, for the Southern, Eastern, Western, and Northern Districts of New York, and the Eastern District of Michigan.
Professional Affiliations, Recognitions, Awards, and Activities:
Debra is an active member of the American Association for Justice and the New York City Bar Association. She was selected to the New York Metro Rising Stars list – a distinction given only to 2.5% of attorneys in the New York Metro area – in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Debra has participated as a mentor attorney in the Brooklyn Law School Externship Program, which provides law students with substantial “real-world” lawyering experiences in client representation and advocacy and allows them to engage in other actual attorney tasks and work under direct attorney supervision in a law firm setting.
When she is not advocating for her clients, Debra enjoys spending time with her dog, Bowser, and traveling.
